Fundamentals of Warehouse Management

This course introduces participants to the principles of warehouse management.  Examine the basics of logistics and warehousing activities in an organization.  Techniques of material control, effective warehousing and use of appropriate material handling equipment are explored.  Additional topics include impact of logistics information systems, distribution and order processing control, warehouse management systems, basics of industrial health and safety in the workplace, and the principles of transportation.
