∙ About Us

The Peel Chapter of APICS was formed in 1990 in order to accommodate the growing number of resource management professionals working and/or living in the Region of Peel. Since its inception, the Peel Chapter has seen rapid growth in terms of educational offerings, professional development meeting attendance and membership.

APICS - The Association for Operations Management - is a professional organization with over 44,000 members worldwide.

Peel Chapter is part of the Canadian District of APICS.

APICS is present in twenty-eight countries outside North America. In North America APICS consists of nine Districts representing 250 chapters throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico. The Canadian District is part of the APICS network of chapters, with over 3,500 members that stands behind the society's mission statement; "APICS builds knowledge and skills in operations management professionals to enhance and validate abilities and accelerate careers. We help our members and their organizations successfully compete and build a stronger global economy. "
Canadian District of APICS is made up of twenty Canadian Chapters; Vancouver, Frazer Valley, Okanagan, Edmonton, Calgary, Winnipeg, Durham, Hamilton, Kawartha, London, Ontario Grand Valley (OGV), Ottawa, Peel, Simcoe, Toronto, Windsor, Montreal, Estrie, Quebec and Nova Scotia.
